Our Story
Before founding Afterglow, Poppie built a formidable reputation orchestrating high-stakes events across the globe.
Her operational expertise spans every scale and format; from managing complex, 10,000-person crowds at Wembley Arena to facilitating high-level government roundtables, All-Party Parliamentary Groups (APPGs), and sensitive community listening exercises.
She has consistently delivered flawless environments for the world’s most influential figures, including uniting key business decision-makers with HRH Prince Harry.
The vision for Afterglow Intelligence, however, was born from a deeply personal turning point. Following a traumatic brain injury, Poppie found herself needing a better, more reliable way to capture information, synthesize key takeaways, and turn conversations into concrete actions.
During her recovery, she realized that technology in the event space was often a distraction rather than a solution. She saw an urgent need for tools that didn’t just record information, but actively supported people in being more present in the room.
Driven by this insight, Poppie developed Afterglow Intelligence to solve the problem of “insight decay.” By combining distraction-free hardware with an AI-driven synthesis platform, she created a system that build’s a Collective Action Plan.
Today, Poppie is on a mission to prove that when brilliant people gather, they create a unique energy that can lead to innovation.
